World is big place. Geologically with seven continents, five oceans and lot many people with lot many cultures. Of those many people a small group makes my family, friends, neighbors and well-wishers or friend of friend! I feel so blessed to have everyone so different from other, it helps me learn a lot about 'The World' .
As my better-half always mentions people talk to you only when they feel you are useful to them! Well, as I already mentioned different people starts with my better half! In fact, from the day I stepped out of my house to my in-laws my encounter with different people started and eventually my learning 'the World' started at the same phase! After one complete year of training / learning / studying, I learnt people are not good or bad its only the state of our mind. When on good mood even if we talk to the most ridiculous or a bossy character we don't feel much. I should admit, I am very thankful to my bad mood days! they make me cry but they never made me fight or argue.
But the bad mood days and meeting ridiculous character was always coincidental! Few of those are highly unforgettable. On a busy morning with guest at home and after dropping my kid at school I came home and sat down with my guest on the coffee table. Then the questions started to shoot on me, of all the questions one was so ridiculous, "You still cook Indian(my native), is it OK if you still cook it. Because, we stopped eating it.". With grin I just replied,"I don't know how to make an Irish coffee!". In the later part of the day on the breakfast table, I made upma(another Indian dish with cracked wheat), I completely forgot the conversation we had at coffee, my bad! "Is this Quinoa?" she asked me, with a grin again I just said 'no'. Being only an year old to the foreign land if forgetting nativity is the point then, I call The World I see a piece of ridicule!
