Number Value!

Today in one of the videos it said, in kaliyuga people give a lot more preference to money. After the video when I looked at the things I felt that's absolutely true. We value everything with money! More the money you spend more the value of the thing! All the precious metals, stones, land, house, tree, vegetables, fruits, water all the high quality product ask us for more money. But, in this rush of making more money and getting high value things we are forgetting the most important products of life, that's Love, Respect and Happiness! When we look back we are having a materialistic happiness and all subtle things are ignored.  May be someone rate the Respect, the Love and the Happiness and it should be more costlier than anything else on the earth. May be then people might grow greed to acquire them. May be then they find short cuts to give most of love, respect and may then acquire more real happiness. Will that happen? How bad, just because a human is not rated with number he don't value them! What kind of humans are we?

Righteousness!

Yesterday, when I was telling my kid about Lord Rama he asked me,"Mom, What made Lord Rama so great?". By hearing this question the mommy mind of mine wanted to teach my son about Righteousness of Lord Rama. I wanted to tell him, life gives us what we give to it, so obeying and respecting elders, beginning truthful, treating everyone with respect and knowing our limits helps us to live a righteous life as Lord Rama. But, is the world still like that? Is society we live in is helping us to be righteous?

When I ask my husband about his day at office, well by the conversation we have everyday about his work life, I understood that work life is all about derogating. If some one want to show case their talent instead of trying to come up with the best ideas, world took a short-cut of belittling! Since childhood I was (most of us in fact) asked to share our knowledge or thoughts. Now-a-days secretiveness invaded on us, we hid things we do, we are planning to do or things we already did. When the time comes to answer or inform about the things we did, we either act ludic or act as if  it happened without our knowledge or effort! When something great happens with us we can see a few people feeling happy for us, most of them are either surprised or egoistic. No one cares about others, everyone has there own borders and we care and bother about people within that border. People won't be happy to get a suggestion from the person from other side of the border and they also doesn't like to hear them. The only thing people on other side of the border can do is either showing crocodile tears or feel jealous. Altercate, complot is the way the society lives! There is no age to behave in this way, everyone has his/ her own reasons to be like this.

Is there a way to get away from this society? Do we have to teach kids about righteousness or do we have teach the tactics to be safe from the people and there thoughts?

World, as I see it!

World is big place. Geologically with seven continents, five oceans and lot many people with lot many cultures. Of those many people a small group makes my family, friends, neighbors and well-wishers or friend of friend! I feel so blessed to have everyone so different from other, it helps me learn a lot about 'The World' .

As my better-half always mentions people talk to you only when they feel you are useful to them! Well, as I already mentioned different people starts with my better half! In fact, from the day I stepped out of my house to my in-laws my encounter with different people started and eventually my learning 'the World' started at the same phase! After one complete year of training / learning / studying, I learnt people are not good or bad its only the state of our mind.  When on good mood even if we talk to the most ridiculous or a bossy character we don't feel much. I should admit, I am very thankful to my bad mood days! they make me cry but they never made me fight or argue.

But the bad mood days and meeting ridiculous character was always coincidental! Few of those are highly unforgettable. On a busy morning with guest at home and after dropping my kid at school I came home and sat down with my guest on the coffee table. Then the questions started to shoot on me, of all the questions one was so ridiculous, "You still cook Indian(my native), is it OK if you still cook it. Because, we stopped eating it.". With grin I just replied,"I don't know how to make an Irish coffee!". In the later part of the day on the breakfast table, I made upma(another Indian dish with cracked wheat), I completely forgot the conversation we had at coffee, my bad! "Is this Quinoa?" she asked me, with a grin again I just said 'no'. Being only an year old to the foreign land if forgetting nativity is the point then, I call The World I see a piece of ridicule!
