Blame whom! -- Impact of Movies

People are crazy to watch movies on television no wonder how many times they watch the same movie but they still enjoy it as if they are seeing it for the first time! My mom she said long back when they got a television it's only doordarshan channel on tv, and that channel use play a movie on Sunday somewhere at evening. By that time women use to complete there household chores and with there kids along they use to come to my grand ma's place just to watch movie. With full attention they use to watch that movie and after that they use to discuss about it with some tea and snacks, that is how the TV is! 

Now it's completely different in my case, given a chance I can watch TV for one whole day and the impact is, when my mum speaks about her childhood I imagine it in Eastman color! One day she told how she met my dad, I imagined my dad in bel bottom pants, his hair partitioned towards left and a trim mustache ( anyway my dad is always handsome). My mom with long hair, curly earlock and some silk saree. When my grandma speaks to me about her childhood I imagine it in black and white! When I was a kid I use to wonder how they lived in world like that!!! 

Going further yesterday I told my kid that his dad got stuck in traffic and it takes 15 more minutes for him to come home. Then he suggested why won't dad break the car windows and come home running!!! 

And The Legacy Continued.....

Success, Perfection

Well, sitting at home all these years one of my favorite pass time is to interact with successful women round the world. I am very thankful to internet. Many dancers, writers, entrepreneurs, singers, actors.. Who not everyone. They are very successful both in career and in family! 

Today I got an a beautiful opportunity to speak to one them. She is a writer, she won many awards for her humor. She has two kids who are now at there dream position and enjoying there work. When I spoke to her about her kids she said," Only there marriage is left other than that I think I am done with all other responsibilities.". Women who is 52 years old and her husband who is the very well educated are successful persons I have seen till the date. Being desperate about the mantra/secret of there success I asked her one direct question about her mantra to success. She smiled, took a pause and asked me what made me to consider her successful, I told her excellence in her hobby to write, excellence as a wife and a mother. Then, she explained me success depends on the things in which you want to excel. For her those three aspects are important and she gave her complete attention to fulfill them. This small conversation gave me so much of information. 

For being successful we have to prioritize our wants and with perfection we have to fulfill each and everything then success automatically knocks our door. Perfection in every aspect is tough but trying to acquire it is challenge!
