Existence of good

What do you think about God? Does he seriously exist or else is it just one of those few misconceptions we are caring from centuries! 
        
        Take Lord Rama into consideration, he build a bridge called Rama Setu or Adam's bridge which connects SriLanka and India. He is also known for his righteousness. NASA proved the existence of that bridge, which is an engineering marvel of  5026BCE. Roughly at 3220BCE Lord Krishna born in Mathura and brought up in Gokul across Yamuna river. He lived for 125 years, all this time he taught people 'DHARMA' , he fought against bad and rakshasa (really very bad people). There is a tribe named "Mathangs" in  Srilankan jungles, they believe and experienced Lord Hanuman who visit there place once in every 41 years!          What made us to worship them all? Naughty acts of Krishna, righteous rule of Rama, devotee like Hanuman and many others. Is that the miracles which fascinates us or else the wish for miracles to shower on us?People say when you truly worship God he showers miracles to do good. True worship is through righteousness, that is what Bhagavad Gita teaches us.  A person becomes God for his righteousness but not for the miracles.  It's the positive thought in you makes things happen and makes the success knock your door. We worship God everyday for the positivity to grow within us, but not for the miracles. 

Live Life righteously. Be optimistic. 

Expectations!

There are two subjects on this earth where most of them are experienced, have knowledge and strong, very strong opinion on it, they are Pregenacy and Parenting! 

As my son started going school, I accompanied him for few days( for induction classes). Few others parents like me were also there. So, usual parent chat about snack they are packing for kids, there habits and there ways of parenting were our topics. Each one of us have there own views, experiences, talent to tackle with kids! Out of all of them one mother is quiet mentionable, she has a son too. After a few days in a conversation we came to know that she wants to see her son with glass on his nose and constantly reading a book! She also said she doesn't allow him to watch television because it would distract him from books and beginning a well behaved kid. Yes, he was a well behaved kid. This confident mother use to give advises to teacher! Poor teacher she never said never to her!( that shows her patience). Even advises to fellow parents about parenting. Initially, It was going well for her and us too. After a few days a call from teacher shook her. Her well behaved kid is no more a well behaved one! Out of his excitement to he started pushing every one. More than this her son not getting A plus panicked her a lot!!! For this thing she took him and herself to counsellor!!

There is a limit for expectations. There should be balance in life. We are parents to guide them in the path chosen by them. Don't pressurize kids for your dreams, give them a balanced life. 

Birthdays after marriage!

Most awaited day in a year is my birthday. First thing to check in calender is the day of my birthday. If it's on weekend, it would be so depressing because I can't put on new dress to school and share cookies or chocolate with my pals! Celebration starts with getting a new dress, momma preparing my favorite sweet, daddy preparing the guest list. Because of the excitement I couldn't sleep before night! After a tiresome day, I use to make plans for my next birthday!

After marriage this turned out to be different. Yes I check the day of my birthday and remember the date (now we celebrate according to lunar calender) but, I will not tell anyone about it. Because it would help my husband to remember my birthday. Exactly a month before my birthday I don't speak any thing about shopping, even that thing would give him a clue! But he gets a dress for me, then I ask him why! He says for my birthday. With no expression on face I say 'oh' but I feel, " oh! You remember!". On the day of my birthday I check is he making my 3 year old son wish me? Is my in-laws wishing me properly? Is he giving a good party? I don't want to miss any opportunity to shout on him! 

Despite of his extra extra care to celebrate my birthday there will be few mistakes. Like, this time he wrote my age on the cake! I asked him why? He said, " if we lit those many candles, it turns out to be a wax cake! So I asked him to write on it!". I don't have words! Now on the thought of the word 'birthday' is reminding me the number!!
